Clemson Rowing Competes in Second Regatta

SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Clemson rowing team finished fourth in the varsity women’s championship-8 at the Head of the South Regatta in Savannah, GA on the Savannah River on Saturday.

The women’s championship A-team recorded a time of 19.52 in finishing fourth behind first place Miami (18.11). The novice-8 A-team finished fourth with a time of 20.42, while the B-team finished 13th with a time of 22.28.

The Head of the South Regatta concludes the fall season for the Tiger rowers. Their next regatta is scheduled for March 13, 1999 when they travel to the Tom White Regatta in Oak Ridge, TN.
