Clemson Ranked Second in the Soccer America Poll

CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson men’s soccer team is ranked second in the Soccer America poll released Monday evening.

Clemson is now 7-0 on the year and is off of its best start since the 1978 season. In last week’s Soccer America poll, the Tigers were ranked third.

The last time Clemson was ranked second in the Soccer America poll was on September 10, 2002.

Clemson is led in scoring by Dane Richards with six goals and six assists for 18 points. Frederico Moojen has seven goals and one assist for 15 points.

The Tigers will play host to Longwood Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field.
