Clemson No. 1 Fourth Straight Week

Clemson, S.C.—Clemson is ranked No. 1 in the nation in the College Football Playoff Poll released Tuesday night.  It marks the fourth consecutive week that Clemson has been ranked first in the poll that will determine the four teams who will compete in the second College Football Playoff.   Clemson is also No. 1 this week by Associated Press and USA Today.

Clemson has an 11-0 record, including a perfect 8-0 mark in the ACC.  The Tigers conclude their regular season on Saturday at noon at South Carolina in a game that will be televised by ESPN.

Clemson has six wins over teams with winning records this year, including No .6 Notre Dame and No. 13 Florida State.  Clemson will face No. 14 North Carolina in the ACC Championship game in Charlotte on December 5.  The College Football Playoff Committee will announce the four teams for the playoff the next day at noon.
