Clemson Moves Up in Two Polls

CLEMSON, SC – After its three-game sweep of Auburn, the Clemson baseball team moved up one spot in two major polls on Monday. The Tigers climbed to number two in Baseball America, its preseason ranking. Collegiate Baseball moved the Tigers up one spot to third. The USA Today/Baseball Weekly poll had not been released as of 6:30 PM.

The Tigers will travel to Charleston, SC, on Friday to play the College of Charleston at 6:00 PM before a two-game set with South Carolina. Saturday’s game will be played at 4:00 PM in Columbia and Sunday’s affair will start at 2:00 PM at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. The Gamecocks are ranked fifth by Baseball America, fourth by Collegiate Baseball making the weekend games a consensus top-five matchup.
