Clemson Men’s Track and Field – NCAA Day Three Results

EUGENE, OR – The Clemson men’s track and field team completed competition on day three of the NCAA Outdoor Championships held at Hayward Field.

Jacey Harper competed in the semifinals of the 100m dash. He recorded a time of 10.41 and finished fifth in his heat. Harper failed to advance to the finals of the event as only the top four finishers in each heat move to the finals.

Todd Matthews and Sultan Tucker competed in the semifinals of the 110m hurdles. They finished fifth and sixth in their heat with times of 13.83 and 14.15, respectively. Neither Matthews nor Tucker qualified for Saturday’s final.

Ato Modibo will be the lone Tiger to compete for Clemson on Saturday. He qualified for the finals of the 400m dash with a time of 46.16. Modibo was the 400m indoor national champion in 1999 and entered the 2001 Outdoor Championships with the second-fastest time in the nation (44.87).
