Clemson Men?s Tennis Ranked 60th in Preseason Poll

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s tennis team is ranked 60th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Preseason poll released Friday.

The Tigers’ Yannick Maden was ranked 75th in the preseason ITA singles poll. The doubles team and brothers, Yannick and Dominique Maden were ranked 18th as a doubles team.

Yannick Maden, a senior from Stuttgart, Germany, advanced to the final 16 in themain draw of the All-American Tournament in singles, while the doubles team of Yannick and brother Dominique Maden advanced to the final eight in the maindraw of this tournament on October 4-7, in the fall of 2012.

The Maden brothers were also doubles finalists in the Southern Intercollegiate Championships in Athens, GA on September 7-10, 2012.

Yannick advanced to the Quarterfinals of the ITA Carolinas Regional Tournament in singles on October 18-21, this past fall. The Maden Brothers reached the final four of the ITA Carolinas Regional Tournament onOctober 18-21.

Clemson will open the dual portion of the 2012-13 schedule on Wednesday, January 16, as the Tigers will play host to Furman at 5:00 p.m.
