Clemson Men’s Soccer to Face Longwood Tuesday Night

CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson men’s soccer team, coming off a 1-0 win over fifth-ranked North Carolina, will play host to Longwood University Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field.

Clemson was ranked in the top four nationally in the various polls released last week. The Tigers have a 7-0 record this season and is off to its best start since the 1978 season.

Clemson is led in scoring by Dane Richards with six goals and six assists for 18 points. Frederico Moojen has seven goals and one assist for 15 points.

Longwood has a 1-5-1 record overall this season. The Lancers are coming off a 1-1 tie with Richmond on September 16. The Lancers are led in scoring by Max Griessbach with one goal and one assist with three points.
