Clemson Men’s Soccer Signees

CLEMSON, SC–Nathan Thornton of Spring, TX and Joseph Bendik of Marietta have signed National Letters of Intent to attend Clemson next fall as announced by Head Men’s Soccer Coach Trevor Adair.

Thornton attends Klein High School in Spring, TX. He helped lead the team to a Texas State Championship in 2005. Thornton also plays for the Houston Texas Club team. The 5’8″ forward is a member of the Texas State ODP team and a member of the ODP Region III Team. He is also a National Scholar All-American.

Bendik is a goalkeeper from Marietta, GA. He is a member of the U17 National Team and a member of the ODP Region Team. He attended Edison Academic Center High School and played for the Cobb FC. Bendik attended the U18 National Team Camp in Los Angeles, CA. He also attended the adidas ESP (Elite Soccer Program) this past summer in Hartford, CT.

“Both of these players are headed for outstanding careers at Clemson,” said Adair. “They enter Clemson with excellent credential on the field and in the classroom.”
