Clemson Men’s Soccer Coach Mike Noonan Announces Summer Camp Dates

Dec. 16, 2010

CLEMSON, SC – Clemson Head Men’s Soccer Coach Mike Noonan announced the dates for Mike Noonan’s Clemson Tiger Soccer Camp to be held on campus during the month of June, 2011.

“We are very excited about our camps that we have to offer,” said Clemson Head Men’s Soccer Coach Mike Noonan. “We think that a spot in one of our camps would make an excellent and very unique holiday gift. It would be the kind of gift that a player could anticipate and be excited about for six months. It would also be a gift for a player who wants to learn more and refine his skills. We have a limit on the number of places in our camp, so we encourage everyone to enroll as early as possible.”

Three different camps will be offered. The first camp, the Pre-Academy Camp is offered for younger players ages 9-15.

The June 20-23 camp will be for players who will be in the 9th-12thgrades this fall and for club or high school teams. This camp is designed for players to prepare for upcoming seasons. Also this camp is for teams to refine skills and scrimmage other teams in attendance.

The June 24-27 event is designed to prepare players to compete at the collegiate level. It is for rising 11th and 12th graders.

In all the camps, learning more about technique, conditioning and match-related activities will be emphasized.

For more information, please call (864) 952-9685 or visit the camp website at www.theclemsontigersoccercamp.com. Online registration is available, and credit cards can be used on the secured website. Again, a limited number of players are allowed for each camp, so it is encouraged to act early.

Coach Noonan has coached 10 players drafted in the MLS. He has led nine teams to the NCAA Tournament and has won 229 matches during his career. Prior to his arrival at Clemson, Noonan coached at Brown, New Hampshire and Wheaton College.
