Clemson Men’s Cross Country Team Finishes Third At Bulldog Stampede

ATHENS, GA – The Clemson men’s cross country team finished third at the Bulldog Stampede held Saturday morning at the Georgia Golf Course. The University of Georgia won the meet with 35 points, the University of Florida was second with 46 points and Clemson scored 57 points to finish third. Wichita State took fourth place with 108 points, LSU was fifth with 148 points, Central Florida tallied 169 points, Vanderbilt had 194 points for seventh place, and Mercer placed eighth with 227 points.

Matt Pimentel placed 18th (26:59.47) and Itay Magidi and Clay Pendleton were 20th and 21st with times of 27:06.30 and 27:07.89, respectively. Mike Foley covered the course in 27:23.10, and Greg Isaacs finished 35th with a time of 27:38.97 and Eric Soder placed 44th in 27:52.39.

The Tigers return to action on Oct. 4 as they travel to Maine for the Maine Invitational.
