Clemson Men’s Cross Country Team Finishes Fifth At Southeast Regional

GREENVILLE, NC – The Clemson men’s cross country team finished fifth at the 2003 NCAA Southeast Regional Championships held Saturday morning in Greenville, NC. NC State won the meet with 38 points and Kentucky accrued 85 points to finish second and also advance to the team championships. William and Mary placed third with 94 points, edging fourth-place Virginia who finished with 95 points. The Tigers tallied 142 points to round out the top-five teams.

As an individual, senior Hans Koeleman (1980-1983) and Kevin Hogan (1991-1994) each garnered the award four times.

Matt Pimentel placed 42nd in 31:25.1. Ryan Fenton posted a time of 31:45.9 to finish 54th, and Itay Magidi completed the 10K race in 34:06.0. Team Results 1. NC State – 38 points 2. Kentucky – 85 points 3. William & Mary- 94 points 4. Virginia – 95 points 5. Clemson – 142 points
