QUICK FACTS • Clemson and Duke have split their last four meetings, although the Blue Devils won both regular season games last season. Clemson won in the semifinals of the 2008 ACC Tournament, then at home in the 2008-09 season. • The Tigers are seeking their fourth straight season with at least nine ACC wins during the regular season. Clemson was 10-6 in 2007-08 and 9-7 in both 2008-09 and 2009-10. • Clemson last won in Durham on Jan. 4, 1995 by a score of 75-70. The victory was in Rick Barnes’ first year as head coach. Brad Brownell is in his first season as Clemson’s head coach. • Wednesday will be Senior Night in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Clemson has won 14 times over the years on opposing ACC teams’ Senior Nights, including three of the last five years. • Clemson owns 13 wins over top-25 Duke teams in its history, the most over any other school. The Tigers’ last win over a ranked Duke team was on Feb. 4, 2009 when Clemson won 74-47 at home over No. 4 Duke. • Larry Shyatt for the single-season record among first-year Clemson coaches. Shyatt won 20 during the 1998-99 season. • Clemson has moved up to No. 12 nationally in scoring defense, yielding just 60 points per game. Last time out, Clemson held its fourth ACC opponent of the season to 50 points or less in a 63-49 win over Wake Forest. • Demontez Stitt needs just four assists Wednesday to become only the seventh player in Clemson history with 400 over the course of a career. • Stitt, who has averaged 16.0 points per game over Clemson’s last six contests, scored all 17 of his points in the second half at Cameron Indoor Stadium last season. • Jerai Grant has 67 blocked shots on the season, most by any Tiger since Trevor Booker tallied 78 as a freshman during the 2006-07 season. • Grant is second in Clemson history with a .599 career field goal percentage, just ahead of the .598 clip his uncle Horace shot for the Tigers from 1983-87. • Over the last two games, Clemson junior Tanner Smith has recorded 15 assists against only two turnovers in 62 minutes of play. Smith is one of three players on the team with at least 76 assists on the season.
