Clemson Improves to 6-8 with Win over Georgia

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tiger volleyball team picked up their sixth win of the season with a 3-1 victory over SEC rival Georgia. Clemson improves to 6-8 overall while Georgia drops to 8-6.

Clemson won the first game 15-6 before dropping the second game 5-15. The Tigers bounced back in the third game, holding the Bulldogs to just two points. The Tigers were down 2-6 in the final game before going on a 13-point scoring streak to seal the win.

Meredith Kirtland led the Tigers with 24 kills and 12 digs while Kiki Dallao added 14 kills, 11 digs, and four assists. Jackie Dalleska recorded 11 kills with five block assists. Jessi Betcher dished out a match-high 57 assists with 12 digs. Anne Berki tallied a game-high seven blocks (two solo).

Luresa Forsythe and Jennifer Foytich each recorded 11 kills while Stacy Buerger had ten kills with seven digs. Kilee Goetz handed out a team-high 47 assists with ten digs.

Clemson hosts ACC rival Maryland at Jervey Gym on Friday night at 7:00 p.m.
