CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s tennis team hosts Boston College on Friday and Miami (Fla.) on Sunday. The Tigers face the Eagles on Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Hoke Sloan Tennis Center. The Tigers are looking to improve in ACC play after losing their last two ACC matches against North Carolina and North Carolina State this past weekend. Clemson fell to the Tar Heels on Friday night at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center, 6-1. On Sunday Clemson traveled to Raleigh, falling short in a close decision against the Wolfpack, losing 4-3.
Scouting Boston College: The Eagles of Boston College are 3-12 overall and 0-7 in ACC play, most recently defeated by #3 Virginia, 7-0. Last year the Tigers defeated the Eagles in Massachusetts, 4-3.
Scouting Miami: The Hurricanes of Miami are currently 7-9 overall on the season and 2-4 in ACC play, recently falling to Wake Forest, 7-0. Miami is currently ranked 67th in the country, led by the 38th-ranked singles player, Piotr Lomacki. Last year the Tigers defeated the Hurricanes in Coral Gables, 4-3.
