Clemson Hoops Hosts Dartmouth

CLEMSON, S.C.–The Clemson Lady Tigers have had a dominating defense all season.

The Lady Tigers (7-0, 2-0 ACC), who host Dartmouth on Monday, set a school record with their 18th straight home win last Monday. Clemson routed Maryland 89-48.

Nikki Blassingame led the 15th-ranked Tigers with 18 points on 9-for-13 shooting in the victory.

Clemson’s defense forced 31 turnovers and had 19 steals, while the Tigers’ offense saw each of their 12 players score. Natasha Anderson had 13 points and Amy Green had 11, while Nuria Forns came off the bench to score 10.

The 41-point margin was the largest victory by the Lady Tigers over the Terrapins, whom they’ve now beaten in four straight meetings.

The Big Green of Dartmouth (2-3) edged the University of Massachusetts at Amherst on Friday night 72-70.
