Clemson Doubles Teams Advance in ITA Men’s All-American Championships

TULSA, OK – One singles player and two doubles teams are participating in the qualifying tournament of the ITA Men’s All-American Championships in Tulsa, OK this week.

In singles play, Alejandro Sanchez of Tulsa defeated Gerardo Meza of Clemson 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

After receiving a first round bye, the doubles team of Dominique Maden and Yannick Maden of Clemson defeated Alberto Bautista and Jeremy Efferding of Texas A&M 9-7 in the second round.  The Maden brothers are seeded ninth in the segment of the tournament.

In the first round, Gerardo Meza and Ayrton Wibowo of Clemson defeated Arnau Dach and Facundo Lugones of TCU 8-4.  The Clemson duo upset the 15th-seeded team of Conor Berg and Jadon Phillips of New Mexico 8-5.
