Clemson Divers Participate In Georgia Diving Invitational

Women Compete In 3M Diving Event

ATHENS, Ga. — The Clemson divers participated in the Georgia Diving Invitational at Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, GA on Friday.

In the men’s competition, junior Craig Thomas finished 10th in the 3m event with a final score of 452.60. Thomas also earned a 12th-place finish in the 1m event with a final score of 261.00. Sophomore Eric Shulick also competed for the Tigers earning a score of 212.25 in the preliminaries of the 1m event and a score of 361.85 in the preliminaries of the 3m event.

On the women’s side, freshman Shastin Leathers lead all Clemson divers with a score of 186.55 in the 1m prelims. Leathers was followed by junior Amy Tolley who finished with a score of 143.90 and fellow freshman Jennifer Bires who finished the event with a score of 130.70.
