Clemson Defeats College of Charleston 7-0

CLEMSON, SC – Clemson defeated the College of Charleston 7-0 in a men’s intercollegiate tennis match that was played indoors at Clemson, SC Sunday afternoon. With the win, Clemson improves to 8-2 on the year, while the Cougars fall to 1-1 this season.

Clemson won all six singles matches including the number one flight. At number one singles the Tigers’ Wesley Moran of Clemson came from behind and defeated Bryan Roberts 3-6, 6-4 and 1-0 (10-5). Moran is now 5-1 in dual matches.

“We did not play good doubles today,” said Clemson Head Coach Wesley Moran is a very competitive player. He has a competitive spirit, and we can learn from him and his attitude.”

The Tigers will play host to Furman on Friday, February 18, at 2:30 p.m. in the Tigers’ next action.
