The 2010 Clemson baseball players and coaches received their College World Series rings prior to the Tiger men’s basketball game against Michigan on Tuesday night at Littlejohn Coliseum. Video from the ring presentation is now available on ClemsonTigers.com.
The Tigers made their 12th trip to the College World Series in 2010 and had a 45-25 overall record. Clemson finished in a tie for third place in the nation with its two wins in Omaha, victories over top-ranked Arizona State and #6 Oklahoma. The Tigers’ seven NCAA Tourney wins and two College World Series wins both tied school records.
Clemson, who finished the season ranked #4 in the Collegiate Baseball poll, also won the ACC Atlantic Division title by sweeping #7 Florida State at the end of the regular season and captured the Auburn (AL) Regional title as well as the Clemson Super Regional Championship.
