Clemson Athletic Department, FANSonly Network Offer Online Ticket Sales

CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson University Athletic Department and the FANSonly Network announced the launch of a new internet feature that will allow Clemson men’s basketball tickets to be purchased online at Clemson’s official athletic web site, ClemsonTigers.com.

FANSeats will offer a secure online transaction form on ClemsonTigers.com. Clemson University is the fourth school of FANSonly’s 88 live sites to offer this service to fans.

“Clemson is excited to be one of the first schools to take part in this endeavor with FANSonly,” said Clemson Associate Athletic Director and Ticket Manager Van Hilderbrand. “This is going to be a great way for us to make ticket purchasing more available to our fans.”

Clemson anticipates being able to provide on-line ticketing for Olympic sports in the near future, as well as single-game football tickets next fall.

“Moving business functions online should help Athletic Departments better serve the needs of their fans, while also easing the staffing needs that many universities face,” said Jeff Cravens, Vice President and General Manager for FANSonly. “Clemson’s decision and ability to sell tickets directly on their website with our newly developed technology is setting a trend that I think many of the schools in our network will be quick to follow.”
