Clemson And Auburn Play To 1-1 Tie In Exhibition Match

FAYETTEVILLE, GA – Clemson and Auburn played to a 1-1 tie in an exhibition women’s soccer match at Fayetteville, GA Sunday.

Auburn scored on a penalty kick with five minutes gone in the match. Clemson evened the score at the 35:40 mark as Deliah Arrington scored from an assist from Allison Mitchell.

“I am very pleased with the progress we have made during the preseason,” said Head Coach Todd Bramble. “This match with Auburn allowed us to look at different combinations of players in different situations. Again we are happy with our preseason.”

Clemson will play host to Mercer Saturday, August 25, at 4:00 p.m. in an exhibition match at Riggs Field in the Lady Tigers’ next action.
