Clemson 10th in Latest Coaches Poll

Clemson, S.C.—Clemson is 10th in the latest Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll and 11th in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Computer poll.   Clemson concluded its fall schedule  10 days ago with a strong third-place finish at the U.S. Collegiate in Alpharetta, Ga.   The No. 10 ranking by the coaches poll is tied for the best this season and the Sagarin computer ranking is the best in that rating.

Clemson finished the fall with a 34-19-1 record overall, including a 17-17-1 mark against other top 25 teams.  Clemson’s schedule is ranked second most difficult in the country according to the Sagarin Computer poll.

Individually, three Tigers are in the top 60 in the nation in the latest Sagarin computer rankings.  The Tigers are led by graduate student Stephen Behr, who is a career high 20th in the nation with a 69.03 rating.  Junior Austin Langdale is ranked 41st with a 69.75 rating and senior Miller Capps is 58th with a  70.11.
