CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson men’s tennis sophomore Simon Baudry has been named to the 2018 All-ACC Second Team, as announced by the conference office on Thursday afternoon. This is the first career all-conference honor for Baudry.
Baudry, a native of Bordeaux, France, finished this season 15-7 in dual matches, with 17 of 22 matches played at No. 2 singles for the Tigers. He has three wins over nationally-ranked singles opponents in 2017-18, including an upset over 17th-ranked and All-ACC First Team selection Nicolas Alvarez of Duke in this year’s ACC Tournament. Baudry, currently ranked 81st nationally in singles, went 22-9 this season, including his results from an impressive fall season that saw him reach the semifinals of the ITA Carolina Regional.
