Clemson’s Bradley LeCroy cut the lead to 5-2 in the fourth inning with a leadoff solo home run, his second of the year, but Schmitt and Siemon held the Tigers scoreless for the remainder of the afternoon.
Wake Forest added to its lead with single runs in the fifth and sixth innings.
