Athletics 101 ? 400 Meters with Jeffrey Green

Clemson track & field is excited to introduce a new series titled ‘Athletics 101.’ In this nine-part series produced by Clemson’s athletic communications office, we showcase the Tigers’ rich history in the sport of track & field, or athletics, as it is known on an international level.

Graduate assistant Christine Williamson interviews student-athletes ranging from the sprints to the throws for this series. Click the YouTube link on this page to watch the second installment of the series featuring Jeffrey Green, a 400-meter sprinter from Miami, Fla.

Green is a freshman on this year’s Tiger team, and went to the same high school (Miami Northwestern) that produced World Champion hurdler Brianna Rollins. It is also the same school that sent 400-meter classmate Cordell Lamb to Tigertown, and together with Auburn transfer Michael Cheeks, the three are representative of Clemson’s newfound depth in the quarter mile.
