Alabama Defeats Clemson

CLEMSON, SC – Alabama won five of the six singles matches and won the doubles point as the 20th-ranked Crimson Tide defeated Clemson 6-1 in a men’s intercollegiate tennis match at Clemson, SC Wednesday afternoon.

Alabama, ranked 20th in the latest ITA poll improves to 14-5 this season. Clemson falls to 3-15 this season. The Tigers are ranked 47th nationally. Alabama is the eighth top-25 team the Tigers have faced this season.

Clemson will play at Virginia on Friday, March 30 in an Atlantic Coast Conference match. The Tigers are 0-3 in league play this year.
