Ege recorded 49 digs in the Tigers’ two wins over the weekend, more than 8.0 per set. She eclipsed the 2,000 dig mark on Friday night against Boston College, becoming only the sixth ACC player ever to do so. The senior libero moved into fifth place in ACC history on Saturday against Maryland. She is also the league’s all-time digs/set leader at 4.88, and currently boasts 2,024 digs to her credit, and will become the league’s all-time leader at her current pace.
