April Sinkler won two of Clemson’s five individual ACC titles at the 2010 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships in Blacksburg, VA, helping the Tiger women’s team to its first conference crown since 1992. On Friday, Sinkler successfully defended her long jump title with a personal best and automatic NCAA national qualifying mark of 21’6″. She did it on her third jump of the preliminary round.

The Stafford, VA native became the first female in Clemson history to surpass the six-foot clearance in the high jump on Saturday. She cleared a school record and NCAA automatic height of 6’0.75″. She came through in the clutch multiple times, clearing three separate heights on her final attempt. The two individual event titles were Sinkler’s third and fourth career ACC championships in a Clemson uniform.
