Saturday, Dec. 30

Allstate Fan Fest (Jackson Square) – Noon to 6 p.m.

The Allstate Fan Fest is back for its 12th year to once again serve as the backdrop for pregame events and celebrations leading up to the 2018 Sugar Bowl. As college football fans descend on New Orleans to see a premiere college football bowl game, the Crescent City will come alive with a mix of interactive activities. Fan Fest is located at Jackson Square in the Jax Brewery parking lot off Decatur Street (418 Decatur Street).

 

Saturday, Dec. 30

Tiger Takeover (Manning’s) – 7 p.m. – Until

Join IPTAY, the Clemson Alumni Association and the New Orleans Clemson Club in New Orleans for a welcome party! The Tiger Takeover will take place at Manning’s Fulton Alley (519 Fulton St, New Orleans, LA 70130). Enjoy time in New Orleans with other members of the Clemson family as we celebrate Clemson football and its selection to the College Football Playoff at the Allstate Sugar Bowl. IPTAY & the Clemson Alumni Association will be on hand with giveaways to help us paint the Big Easy orange.

Allstate Fan Fest (Jackson Square) – Noon to midnight

The Allstate Fan Fest will feature football-themed activities, including an opportunity to kick a field goal into the iconic Allstate “Good Hands” field-goal net, as well as high-energy pep rallies featuring marching bands, mascots and cheerleaders from the participating schools. In addition, the Allstate Combine will give fans an opportunity to participate in football-related drills leading up to the big game. Fan Fest is located at Jackson Square in the Jax Brewery parking lot off Decatur Street (418 Decatur Street).

Team Pep Rallies – TBA

Both schools participating in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl will hold official pep rallies as part of Allstate Fan Fest.

Allstate Sugar Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade – 2 p.m.

The Allstate Sugar Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade, a Mardi Gras-style parade with floats, bands and other participants, will entertain fans young and old prior to the 2018 College Football Playoff semifinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The parade will begin at the intersection of Elysian Fields Avenue and Decatur Street at approximately 2:30 p.m., (subject to change). The parade will travel through the French Quarter up Decatur Street along the Mississippi River, passing iconic landmarks such as the Old U.S. Mint, the French Market, Cafe du Monde and Jackson Square.

At approximately 3 p.m., the parade will pass the WDSU stage at the Allstate Fan Fest on Decatur Street inside the Jax Brewery parking lot, where WDSU has set up for live coverage of the parade between 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. All performers will do a two-minute show at this location. The parade wraps up at Canal Street.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2018 (Jackson Square) 

Once again, fans will have the opportunity to be a part of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2018.” Last year, the iconic annual New Year’s Eve tradition expanded with coverage from New Orleans, La., in its first-ever central time zone countdown. This year’s live segments will once again include exclusive performances by national recording artists from the Allstate Fan Fest, where New Orleans locals and tourists gather annually to celebrate the new year and usher in the annual Allstate Sugar Bowl.

 

Monday, Jan. 1

Allstate Sugar Bowl Fan Jam (Champions Square) – 4 p.m.

Get to the Superdome early for a first-rate tailgate party to be held at Champions Square. The party begins three hours before kickoff and lasts until the game begins. Fan Jam features food, interactive games and entertainment, including special appearances by both schools’ bands and cheerleading squads. It is free for fans of all ages. Team pep rallies with the bands and cheerleaders will also be held at Fan Jam.

    

Monday, Jan. 1

Clemson Family Tailgate (Smoothie King Center) – 3:30 p.m., to 6:30 p.m. 

We all know the Clemson family enjoys the pregame celebration, and it’s time for one of the biggest tailgates of the year. Join the Clemson Alumni Association and IPTAY prior to the game for the Clemson Family Tailgate. The tailgate will be located at the Smoothie King Center adjacent to the Superdome and will run from 3:30 p.m., to 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $85 per person and include a New Orleans style buffet, beer, wine and liquor.
