As graduates of Clemson we have been very proud to represent the university on and off campus. It has all been made possible by the commitment and sacrifice of so many alumni and friends of Clemson Athletics. Thank you for providing us the opportunity to earn a degree from Clemson University!
Just around the corner is an event very important to three of us: the 12th Annual Tiger Golf Gathering. This two-day golf event primarily benefits the Clemson University golf teams but also provides support to the Professional Golf Management Program at Clemson as well as South Carolina Junior Golf. The event will take place at Thornblade Club in Greer, SC on Thursday, December 4th and Greenville Country Club’s Chanticleer Course on Friday, December 5th, and features a party on Thursday evening (with a live and silent auction) that is always one of the most outstanding Clemson social events of the year.
For the past twelve years, the Tiger Golf Gathering has led the fundraising campaign for the Clemson Golf Program. The results of this effort are:
· A world class short game practice area with outstanding putting and chipping greens · An exceptional long game practice area with state-of-the-art swing analysis equipment · One of the finest team club houses in the country…a three story 7,700 sq. ft. facility featuring a putting lab and conditioning area unsurpassed in college golf · Our Women’s Golf Team started their inaugural season this past Fall
The success of the Tiger Golf Gathering has allowed us to distribute well in excess of $1.5 million to our event’s designated beneficiaries!
