🏀ProTigers: Trevor Booker Signs in China

CLEMSON, S.C. — Former Tiger standout forward Trevor Booker (Clemson, 2006-10) has agree to a deal with the Shanxi Brave Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association, announced Wednesday.

Booker spent last season in three NBA cities – beginning the year with the Brooklyn Nets and making stops in Philadelphia with the 76ers following a trade and then ended the season with the Indiana Pacers.

Booker made just his second NBA postseason appearance with the Pacers in 2017-18. In total, Booker played 68 games and averaged 6.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 17 minutes per contest.

As a star at Clemson from 2006-10, Booker ranks sixth all-time in program history in scoring (1,725), third in rebounds (1,060), eighth in field goal percentage (.559), first in starts – starting all 134 games played, second in field goals made (687) and fourth in blocked shots (249).

Originally a 23rd overall first-round NBA draft pick of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Booker was dealt on draft night to the Washington Wizards where he began his NBA career. This upcoming season will mark Booker’s 10th season in professional basketball.
